How can I tell if my punch press needs an accuracy check?

Here are some methods and indicators to determine whether a press needs to be checked for accuracy:
    Stamping product quality
If the stamped products have quality problems such as size deviation, irregular shape, uneven surface, etc., it may mean that the precision of the stamping machine has deviated.
For example, a batch of parts stamped continuously has critical dimensions out of tolerance.
    Abnormal mold wear
A die that wears too fast under normal use or wears unevenly may be due to improper fit of the die to the press as a result of the press accuracy problem.
For example, some parts of the die show severe wear while other parts are relatively new.

    Abnormal operation of the press
Abnormal vibration, noise or jamming of the punch press during operation may suggest that the precision of its mechanical parts has been affected.
For example, the slider is not running smoothly, or there is a noticeable jerky movement when the crankshaft is rotating.

    Reduced productivity
When a press's stamping speed decreases, or when it requires frequent adjustments and repairs to maintain normal production, it may be time to check the accuracy.
For example, a press that was capable of 500 strokes per minute is now capable of only 400 strokes and the quality of the product is inconsistent.
Equipment use time and work intensity
Even if there are no obvious signs of malfunction after a long period of high-load operation of the press, an accuracy check should be considered.
Generally speaking, for presses that have been in continuous operation for half a year or more, an accuracy check should be arranged at the right time according to the intensity of their work.

High-speed punching machine rotates the flywheel driven by the electric motor to store energy, and then releases the energy of the flywheel instantly through the control of the clutch and brake to drive the slider to carry out high-speed reciprocating motion to realize the punching action.
