Stamping parts inspection method and standard
Stamped parts are widely used in metal products, and their quality directly affects the performance, safety and service life of the final products. Appearance Inspection
Purpose: To check the appearance quality of stamped parts, including surface defects. Burrs, scratches, rust, colour difference and so on.
Methods:.
Visual Inspection:Directly observe the surface of the stamped part under a standard light source to record and assess any visible defects.
Magnifying Glass/Microscope Inspection:For minor defects, a magnifying glass or microscope can be used for more detailed observation.
Glossmeter Differential: Measures surface gloss and colour-coherence for stamped parts with specific appearance requirements.
Standard:It should conform to the product design drawings or the appearance quality standard specified by the customer.

Dimension Measurement
Purpose: To verify whether the dimensional accuracy of the stamped parts meets the design requirements.
Methods: - Gauge measurement
-Gauge
measurement: Use calipers, micrometers, projectors, coordinate
measuring machines and other tools to measure key dimensions.
-Comparison
of samples: Dimensional verification by comparing with standard
samples. Standard: According to the product design drawings or technical
agreements in the size tolerance requirements for judgement.

Purpose: To confirm whether the composition and performance of the materials used in the stamping parts meet the requirements.
