It is placed between two flat surfaces to strengthen the seal and prevent fluid leakage. The primary function of a gasket is to fill in the irregularities of machined surfaces, thereby preventing leakage between two objects due to pressure, corrosion, or the natural thermal expansion and contraction of the piping.
Gasket stamping, on the other hand, is the process of manufacturing gaskets using the stamping process. Stamping is a manufacturing method that utilizes dies and stamping equipment to apply pressure to a material, causing it to plastically deform or separate, thereby obtaining a part or product of the desired shape and size. Gasket stamping mainly includes the following steps.
1. Design drawings:According to the use environment and functional requirements of the gasket, design the shape and size of the gasket.
Pie material selection:According to the application environment and functional requirements of the gasket, select the appropriate material for production.
3. Material cutting:Cut the selected material into blanks of appropriate size.
4. Mold Design:Design and manufacture stamping molds according to the design drawings and material characteristics of the gaskets.
5. Stamping and molding: Using stamping equipment to stamp the blank to deform it into the shape of the gasket.

6. Subsequent processing: may include deburring, cleaning, heat treatment, surface treatment (such as plating, painting) and other steps to improve the quality and performance of the gasket.
7. Inspection and quality control:Dimensional measurements, material testing, etc. are performed on the manufactured gaskets to ensure that the quality meets the requirements.
