Is there a national standard for the tonnage and stroke of a punch press?

   The tonnage and stroke of punching machines are stipulated in national standards.

    For the tonnage, the commonly used standard punching machine tonnages are 16 tons, 25 tons, 40 tons and so on, mainly in integer tonnage. If the tonnage is not an integer tonnage (e.g. 23 tons), it usually belongs to non-standard

     As for the stroke, national standards usually also specify the range of stroke for different models and specifications of presses. For example, in some standards, parameters such as the maximum stroke and minimum stroke of a particular model of press are specified.

    However, it should be noted that although there are national standards regulating the tonnage and stroke and other parameters of punching machines, there are also non-standard punching machines in the market, i.e., some punching machine manufacturers customize their punching machines according to their own production standards or customers' special needs, and the tonnage and stroke and other parameters may be different from those stipulated in the national standards
